My 2nd Blogiversary!

I can't really believe that this is my 2nd blogiversary! When on earth did that happen? Well...today, obviously. But time has just flown by. So much so, that I only remembered about my blogiversary on Saturday so I'm not exactly prepared!

I didn't have time to organise a big giveaway, which I probably would have done if my brain wasn't scattered, but I couldn't let the occasion pass without celebrating so we shall still have a giveaway!

I've been browsing through some reviews and thinking about the books I've read in the past two years that have made me excited to blog about. You know the ones. The ones that make you sob like a baby as your heart breaks apart. The ones that leaves you speechless as you reverently finish the last page.
We all have those books that just take your breath away.
So I thought I'd share some of those.

First up is Maire Claremont's The Dark Lady. This is the first book I reviewed on Rookie Romance and I just wanted to rave about it. It's dark and bold for a historical romance, written with a sumptuousness that resonates with the Victorian era it's set in. I couldn't recommend it enough, and I've read everything from this author since this! You can see my review for it here (although it was pretty much the first one I wrote so it's not very good).

Another author I discovered through blogging was Pepper Winters. I've devoured every book she's released and I'm always taken aback by how much I love each and every one of her books. There's no one I trust more to take me on a dark and twisted ride, with the barest hope of a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not usually the biggest fan of dark romance, but Pepper Winters knocks it out of the park every time. Tears of Tess was her debut novel and the one that started it all. It even inspired a tattoo I now have on my back! You can see what I originally thought of Tears of Tess here.

How could I possibly do a post about some of the books I've found through blogging without mentioning Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward. I only heard about the Black Dagger Brotherhood series last year (yes, I know, I'm clearly behind the whole world). I've decided to read one book in the series per month since there are currently 12, but I couldn't stop myself from just devouring Lover Awakened a little bit early. I can see why Zsadist's story is such a fan favourite now. So, it seems only suitable that I give away Lover Awakened for someone else to experience it for the first time!

Giveaway!

Anywhos enough of my waffling- onto the giveaway!
I'm going to be giving away a paperback of The Dark Lady, a paperback of Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward, an e-copy of Tears of Tess and a $10 Amazon gift card to celebrate Rookie Romance's 2nd blogiversary.
There will be three winners selected randomly and you can enter the giveaway using the rafflecopter below.

Rules:
Don't try and hoodwink me please, I do check the entries.
The Dark Lady and Lover Awakened will be sent from The Book Depository, so they must ship to your country to win this prize.
Tears of Tess will be gifted via Amazon, so for this and the giftcard you need to be able to receive them on an Amazon account.
Urmmm...pretty sure that's it. The giveaway will end at midnight GMT on the 23rd of March.

Good luck!
