My First Feature and Follow Friday

Every Friday I'm going to participate in the Feature and Follow meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Here are the general rules to Follow Friday:
1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts and any one else you want to follow on the list
2. Follow our Featured Bloggers - This week's feature is: Readiculously Peachy and Gone Bookserk
3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing.
4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can
6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
7. If you want to show the link list, just follow the link below the entries and copy and paste it within your post!

Q: What is a book you didn't like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn't popular?

Ooh, that's hard. My friends aren't as into reading as I am, plus they don't really read the same books as me.  A few years ago I read Virgin Slave, Barbarian King by Louise Allen and it's still a favourite. My friends teased me mercilessly because of the title!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hopping through. New follower! Welcome to Follow Friday. Several of my friends read, but most don't read the same things I do. Luckily, I roped my husband and parents into reading a lot of YA with me.

In regards to your comment about FSOG, I think it's a really great series! I think it's a great introduction into the BDSM world, cause it's pretty mild and as the books go on, there is less and less of it. But the relationship development between Christian and Ana is superb! So I say GO FOR IT!

Maybe you want to go to Amazon and get a sample of the first book and go from there :))

I probably would change the title. It doesn't bother me, and I don't mind lighthearted teasing- but I think it could definitely put some people off. Which is a shame because I thought it was a very sweet romance- and there's not a lot set in this time period.
